SUSTAINABILITY

Perfection has paralyzed too many movements. In the world of sustainability, many believe if they can’t do it perfectly, it’s not worth doing at all. But we believe that real change begins when millions commit to progress, not perfection.

Bali, our home, is a living example of harmony between humans and nature, but even paradise is not immune to the global consequences of overconsumption. Fashion is now one of the most polluting industries on Earth, and at the rate we’re producing and discarding clothing, we’re accelerating that damage. True sustainability would mean producing nothing, but let’s be real: fashion is culture, it’s livelihood, and for many, it’s survival.

So instead of stepping out of the game, we’re changing how we play it.

Our vision is rooted in creating ethically made street-luxury pieces that honor both the islands and the planet, slow-crafted in fair conditions using organic, recycled, and low-impact materials. Every drop is intentional. Every piece is built to last. Not just to wear, but to wear with pride, knowing it didn’t come at someone else’s expense.

We know the word “sustainable” gets thrown around too easily — used to sell more, guilt more, and often mean less. For us, sustainability isn’t a marketing ploy — it’s our standard. From the beaches of Canggu to the rice fields of Ubud, our mission is to leave a lighter footprint and a deeper impact.

This journey is complex, imperfect, and always evolving. But instead of sitting on the sidelines, we’ve chosen to walk forward, one honest, conscious step at a time. And we invite you to walk with us. We hope to inspire a new generation to choose sustainability — not through pressure, but through purpose, one conscious decision at a time.

WHAT FABRICS DO WE USE?

Traditional cotton is one of the most chemically intensive crops on the planet, using a staggering amount of pesticides and insecticides that damage ecosystems, deplete soil health, and contaminate freshwater sources. Beyond polluting land and water, it also consumes massive volumes of water: it takes over 2,700 liters to produce just one cotton t-shirt. Healthy soil is critical not only for farming but also as a natural carbon sink that helps combat climate change, and conventional cotton disrupts that balance.

That’s why we’ve made a commitment to exclusively use GOTS-certified organic cotton or recycled cotton in our pieces. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is one of the highest benchmarks for sustainable and ethical production, covering everything from how the cotton is grown to how it’s processed, dyed, and delivered.

Organic cotton is grown without toxic chemicals, making it safer for the planet and gentler on your skin, ideal for sensitive skin, allergies, and even babies. It relies mostly on rainwater, reducing water usage by up to 91%, and it emits nearly 50% fewer greenhouse gases compared to conventional cotton. Plus, because it’s hand-picked and free of harsh treatments, it results in a fabric that’s softer, longer-lasting, and better in every way.

MILLIMAIRE FOUNDATION

In 2025, we began laying the groundwork for Millimaire Foundations, a vision born from our desire to make a real, traceable impact. Rather than simply donating to existing organizations, we chose to build our own platform to ensure every dollar, effort, and resource directly supports the communities and causes we care about, with transparency, intention, and long-term vision.

Establishing a foundation from the ground up is no easy feat. It requires passing rigorous standards, legal checks, and structural planning, and we're proud to share that we're now in the stages, pending official approval. This is just the beginning of our mission to make giving smarter, more direct, and built to last.

Our goal is to carry out 1–2 missions each year, focused on supporting vulnerable communities across the globe. The Foundation team works relentlessly to identify areas in real need and develop tailored, high-impact solutions. We're not here to simply donate, we believe in showing up, being present, and becoming part of the transformation.

WE ARE NOT PERFECT AT EVERYTHING

Always Evolving. Always Improving.

Sustainability isn’t a destination, it’s a constant journey. We're committed to finding smarter, more sustainable solutions across every part of our business, including how we source materials and manage our global operations. While we’ve made meaningful progress, we’re transparent about the areas where there’s still room to grow.

Travel.

We recognize that air travel, especially long-haul flights, comes with a significant environmental footprint. While alternatives like trains aren’t always an option, particularly for international work, travel remains essential to our brand’s mission, allowing us to create, connect, and shoot in culturally rich locations that resonate with our global audience.

Shipping.

The global shipping system is far from perfect, and we’re mindful of its environmental cost. As for Tariffs, we’ve already implemented emission-free for all purchases, but we’re actively exploring ways to improve our worldwide logistics, including reducing waste, and offset the impact where possible.

CHANGE DOESN’T HAPPEN ALONE, HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?

Give your clothes a second life.

Instead of tossing out pieces you no longer wear, consider donating them to local community centers, shelters, or thrift stores many of which also offer textile recycling.

Shop with intention.

Choose quality pieces you truly connect with items you’ll wear, value, and keep for the long haul.

Support brands that stand for more.

Your wardrobe is a reflection of your values. When you invest in clothing from brands committed to ethical and sustainable practices, you’re actively supporting a better future for the planet and everyone on it.
